#### Open questions

- Whether Pillar Two / a domestic minimum top-up tax has been adopted (not found).
- 2026-27 budget tax measures not verified (Citizens' Guide PDF could not be read); no evidence of new direct taxes.
- Homicide override not added: press reports (about 24 murders by mid-August 2025, 47-48 in 2024) are not an official full-year statistic.
- Overall score: TCA has no WGI, CPI, HDI, LPI, learning-outcome or World Bank internet-use data. The TCI Department of Statistics crime-statistics page reads 'Information Coming Soon' (checked 15 Oct 2026) and no official internet-use percentage was found, so no indicator override is added. Even with a rent figure and an internet-use override, weighted data completeness would be about 0.598, still just below the 0.60 provisional threshold.
- inheritance (standard): Stamp duty on land passing on death (transmission/assent) and probate fees were not found; no primary source (Stamp Duty Ordinance schedule) could be opened. other_transfer_cost_rate is kept at 0 pending a source.
- Prime rent rests on only four Providenciales house listings (two with 4 bedrooms); Sotheby's and Coldwell Banker TCI sites could not be read.

#### Change log

- 2026-10-15: initial research.
- 2026-10-15: second pass. Added British West Indies Collegiate 2026-27 tuition (USD 15,039, Years 9-13). Prime rent not sourced. Looked for official homicide and internet-use statistics for overrides: the TCI statistics office crime page has no data yet, so none added; TCA stays below the completeness threshold. Probate/stamp duty on land to heirs still unsourced.
- 2026-10-15: cost of living pass: added prime rent (USD 10,000 a month, single CENTURY 21 Providenciales listing); open question replaced with a sample-size caveat.
- 2026-10-15: family rent re-checked against the upper-middle-class standard: changed from USD 10,000 (single Long Bay Hills listing) to USD 6,000 (median of 4 Providenciales 3-4 bed houses).
