A resident self-employed person pays the unincorporated business tax (UBT) on worldwide net business income: 0% up to XCD 42,000, 8% to XCD 186,000 and 25% above; this is modelled as the brackets (employees do not pay it). How to get residence

No free movement for anyone. Citizenship by investment starts at USD 230,000 (National Development Fund) or USD 300,000 in approved real estate, plus about USD 18,800 in processing, due diligence and passport fees for a single applicant. The Nomad Digital Residence visa (USD 1,500, income USD 50,000 a year, up to 2 years) suits remote workers. US restrictions on Antiguan passport holders since 1 January 2026 reduce the passport's value for US-bound travel.
